Miles calculator

The Miles page answers one question: how far can your miles actually take you? It is public — anyone can browse the award chart — but signing in unlocks unlimited accounts and saved balances.

Step one — your miles

Enter your KrisFlyer balance, then add each bank points programme you hold (DBS Points, Citi Miles or ThankYou Points, UOB UNI$, OCBC, HSBC, Amex Membership Rewards, Maybank TREATS, and more). Press Calculate my miles and Persfina converts everything at each programme's published transfer ratio into one combined KrisFlyer-equivalent total.

The breakdown under the total shows each conversion, including points that fall below a programme's minimum transfer block (those cannot be transferred yet, so they are excluded from the total) and any transfer fee the bank charges.

Notes:

  • Without an account you can add one bank programme; a free Persfina account removes the limit and saves your balances across visits and devices.
  • Signed-out entries are kept in your own browser only.
  • Ratios and fees change from time to time — the page shows when they were last reviewed, and you should confirm with your bank before transferring.

Step two — the award chart

The full Singapore Airlines award chart for one-way redemptions from Singapore, grouped by zone. Switch between Singapore Airlines flights (Saver and Advantage tiers) and Star Alliance partners (Saver only), and search for a city or country to jump straight to its zone.

Once you have calculated a total in step one, every price is marked against it: within reach, a multiplier such as 2× when your miles cover more than one ticket, or locked when you are short. Combinations the airline does not publish (for example Premium Economy Advantage) show as "—".

Step three — plan the flight you are saving for

Choose a destination, a cabin and award type, and how many tickets. Persfina shows the miles needed, your total, and either the miles you would have to spare or your shortfall. A shortfall comes with the approximate amount of spending on a 4-miles-per-dollar card that would close it — cards like Citi Rewards, DBS Woman's World and HSBC Revolution earn at that rate on bonus categories, subject to monthly caps.

Remember that all prices are one-way: a return trip needs two tickets per traveller.

Good to know

  • Award prices come from the airline's published chart (effective date shown on the page) and are maintained by the Persfina team; availability at those prices is up to the airline.
  • The calculator does not touch your uploaded statements or transactions — the balances you type are the only inputs.
