How do I convert bank points to KrisFlyer miles?
Most Singapore bank rewards programmes transfer to KrisFlyer at a published ratio, often only in minimum blocks. This calculator applies each programme’s ratio and minimum transfer block, so you can see exactly how many miles your points are worth and how many points would be left stranded.
How many KrisFlyer miles do I need for a flight from Singapore?
It depends on the destination zone, cabin, and award tier. The award chart explorer on this page lists Singapore Airlines Saver and Advantage prices, and Star Alliance Saver prices, for one-way awards departing Singapore — pick a destination to see the miles required for each cabin.
Do KrisFlyer miles expire?
Yes — KrisFlyer miles generally expire three years after they are earned. Bank points have their own separate expiry rules, so it is usually better to plan a redemption first and transfer points only when you need them.
What is a minimum transfer block?
Many bank programmes only allow transfers in fixed blocks, for example 10,000 points at a time. Points below a full block cannot be converted; the calculator shows these as stranded so the usable-miles figure stays honest.
What does 4 miles per dollar mean?
4 mpd is shorthand for cards that earn the equivalent of four airline miles per dollar of qualifying spend. The redemption planner uses this rate to estimate how much card spending would cover a miles shortfall.
