1. What Persfina is

Persfina is a personal finance tool that reads the bank and brokerage statements you upload and turns them into spending summaries, account overviews, and investment portfolio tracking. It is currently an invite-only beta: access is limited to people we have personally invited, and the product is offered as a work in progress rather than a finished, guaranteed service.

2. No financial advice

Persfina is a personal record-keeping and reference tool. Nothing in the service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Figures shown (balances, categorization, portfolio values, gains and losses) are for informational purposes only and should be verified against your bank or broker’s official records before you rely on them for any decision.

Miles and points reference data — such as award charts, transfer ratios, and redemption estimates — is maintained by hand and may be out of date. Confirm current prices and ratios with the relevant programme before transferring points or booking an award.

3. Service provided as is; limitation of liability

Persfina is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to parse your statements accurately and to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose. In particular, data parsed from your statements may contain errors and is provided for convenience — the official record remains the statement issued by your bank or broker.

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including under the Unfair Contract Terms Act.

4. Your account and responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. You must only upload statements that belong to you or that you are authorised to manage, and you must provide accurate information when registering. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

5. Acceptable use

Use Persfina only for its intended purpose: managing your own personal financial data. You agree not to attempt to breach or bypass security, probe or scan the service, upload malicious files, interfere with other users’ access, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Right to terminate

As an invite-only beta, we may suspend or terminate access for any account, at our discretion, including for suspected misuse, abuse, or if the beta is discontinued. You may stop using Persfina and delete your account and data at any time from Settings.

7. Changes to these terms

We may modify these terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice in the app, together with the date the updated terms take effect. Continued use of Persfina after that effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you should stop using the service, and you may delete your account at any time in Settings.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Persfina will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
